APS 15mm (0.6") Backing Plate:

The APS 15mm Backing Plate utilizes a spindle, much like the polishing cones. This attaches only via the FVA50 for use with FLEX PXE80 or the RVA50 for use with RUPES iBrid. With a compact 0.6" diameter, it's perfect for tackling the smallest areas that require meticulous attention. This may also attach to a 'bending shaft' accessory with the appropriate interface. Accessory must be able to tighten down on the shaft, NOT for use with the FLEX FS-140 Shaft Set.

• Ideal for spot polishing with extension adapters.
• Height of support plate: 11mm (0.43")
• Velcro diameter: 15mm (0.6") for use with 20mm mini-pads.

APS 2" Backing Plate:

The APS 2" Backing Plate features a precision-machined aluminum core with a conical shape, encased in flexible polyurethane. This design not only enhances safety near paint by minimizing the risk of accidental damage but also ensures you won’t second-guess your technique. The conical shape allows for clear visibility and effortless pad guidance with minimal visual obstruction. Versatile in use, this backing plate is compatible with both rotary and 'DA' modes, and can be employed with or without extensions.
