COLOURLOCK Leather Shield

Protect your new leather - Specifically designed to resistance friction and fatigue

COLOURLOCK Leather Shield prevents surface damage on leather exposed to friction while resisting jean dye transfer and the transfer of other fabric dyes. Car-entrance areas, seat bolsters, and steering wheels can take a beating from sliding in and out or heavy use and thats exactly where Leather Shield excels. While COLOURLOCK Leather Shield does not contain UV protection, it protects against the other primary enemy of automotive and other leathers and may be stacked in concert with Leather Protector for protection against both challenges.

Directions:

**Do not use on porous leathers, suede, or nubuck.**

1. Always test on a concealed area to ensure it doesn't affect the color.
2. Clean with COLOURLOCK Mild or Strong Leather Cleaner.
3. Slightly moisten a terry cloth with COLOURLOCK Leather Shield.
4. Lightly wipe the moistened cloth over the leather from seam to seam in contact areas (which are most exposed to friction or discolouration) and allow to dry.
5. Do not buff immediately after application.
6. Wait 1 hour before sitting in leather seats or use of leather.

Notes: 

• Repeat application every three months on strained surfaces or heavily used areas, 6 months for lower traffic areas.
• If used after leather repair then wait 24 hours after the touchup before applying.
• For protection against UV we recommend our COLOURLOCK Leather Protector which excels at UV protection.  
• Leather Shield and Leather Protector may be stacked. If you establish that both products are needed then the proper process is: Mild Cleaner, Leather Shield, Wait 15 minutes, Leather Protector.  
• Frost sensitive.
