Grit Guard Flex Fit Insert 

Designed to fit popular bucket sizes found at major retail and auto parts stores!

The Grit Guard Flex-Fit insert is a slightly smaller Grit Guard insert that was developed to fit buckets from auto parts stores like Advanced Auto Parts, NAPA, and Pep Boys. The Flex-Fit design has four self-adjusting tabs and a smaller 10″ diameter to provide a secure fit in the bottom of 3.5 – 5 gallon buckets found at major retail stores. Unlike Grit Guard buckets, auto part store buckets taper towards the bottom, making the original Grit Guard insert too big to reach the bottom. 

Grit Guard inserts are not a gimmick, it’s common sense…when your mitt is in the water, the fibers are fluffed up. When you rub your mitt against the insert in the water, the fluffed up fibers allow the insert to extract the dirt, grit and grime. Once dirt settles in the bottom of the bucket, the Grit Guard insert keeps it there by separating the wash water into four quadrants, so the water cannot be disturbed.
