Flex Foam Backing Plate for Rotary for 2" pads
Lake Country Extra Soft Edge Rotary Backing Plates are designed with a flexible foam interface that conforms and adapts effortlessly to curved surfaces, delivering consistent results every time. These backing plates are highly durable and crafted for professionals, featuring a dense shell with an encased lightweight aluminum 5/8" thread.
When polishing with a machine, always leave a margin between the edge of the pad and the edge of the backing plate. This precaution is especially critical when working near curves, edges, or perpendicular surfaces to avoid the backing plate contacting the surface. For optimal results and safety, we recommend using a pad that is slightly larger than the backing plate.
This 2" diameter backing plate is designed for use with 2" buffing pads.
